MARKETPLACE ROUTES
Sell on Ozon from the UAE
For eligible UAE and GCC businesses, Ozon can provide a structured marketplace route to customers in Russia.
Whether it is the right route for your product is a question of eligibility, economics and operational fit. It is answerable before you commit to anything.
A route, not a guarantee
Selling through a marketplace looks like a listing problem and is usually a supply, compliance and reconciliation problem. The listing is the easiest part.
We assess whether the product and the selling entity fit the route, prepare the commercial and operational groundwork, then support the workflow once orders start arriving.
FEASIBILITY FIRST
What has to be true first
Not every UAE or GCC business, and not every product, can sell through Ozon. Feasibility is established first, and a negative answer is a legitimate outcome of that work.
Where you are established
Ozon supports international seller registration from the UAE, subject to its current registration, documentation and eligibility requirements.
Selling entity
Which entity would sell, and whether that structure is workable for the route you take.
Product and category
What the product is, which category it falls in, and whether that category is open on terms that work for you.
Marketplace eligibility
The platform's own requirements for sellers and for listings. These are set by Ozon and change independently of AIVORA.
Logistics and customs
How goods would physically reach the customer, what the customs and documentation position is, and what that does to lead time and landed cost.
Payments and compliance
How settlement would work, and which compliance requirements apply to the parties, the goods and the transaction. Where the answer is that no route is open, we say so.
STRUCTURE
Two routes to market
Feasibility determines the structure from the start. It is not a fallback sequence. The right route depends on the product, the entity and the operating requirements.
Route A: your own Ozon seller account
Where your company is eligible, AIVORA can support assessing, establishing and preparing your own international seller operation, with the account held in your own legal entity's name.
Route B: an existing UAE international seller partner
Where commercially, operationally and legally appropriate, AIVORA can assess and coordinate selling eligible products through a partner that already operates as a UAE international seller on Ozon. Under this route the partner remains the seller and account holder; AIVORA is not the seller of record.
Neither route sets aside Ozon's seller, product, category or brand requirements, customs and documentation obligations, or applicable compliance requirements. Route B is a different commercial structure, not a way around a requirement. Ozon can require product, brand or origin documentation and may suspend an affected listing if it is not provided. That applies under either route.
MARKETPLACE SOLUTIONS
Scope of work
Product and commercial assessment
We assess whether the product has a plausible position in its category: comparable offers, price bands, and the margin remaining after platform and logistics costs.
Marketplace route assessment
Which operating model suits the product and the selling entity, and what each implies for stock, lead time and control.
Onboarding coordination
We coordinate the seller registration and documentation steps the platform requires, where the seller is eligible to complete them.
Russian-language catalogue preparation
We take your existing product information and prepare structured Russian-language catalogue content for the applicable Ozon listing workflow: translating and adapting source material, structuring attributes and category-required characteristics, checking the Russian listing against your source data, and coordinating imagery requirements. In categories where Ozon generates the product name from mandatory characteristics, the work is getting those characteristics right rather than manually writing a title.
Unit economics and pricing
Selling price modelled against marketplace commission, logistics, returns and other applicable charges. Ozon's referral fee varies by product category, so the workable price is a category question rather than a general one.
Order, returns and reconciliation workflow
We support the operating cycle after launch: order flow, reverse flow, and reconciliation of Ozon's settlement and accrual reports against orders, returns and charges, within the logistics model applicable to the international seller.
HOW WE WORK
How it runs
- 01
Assess feasibility
Selling entity, product, category, eligibility, logistics, payments and compliance. This stage can conclude that the route is not open, and that is a legitimate outcome.
- 02
Prepare the route
The commercial model for the chosen route, pricing, catalogue and the documentation required, with specialists engaged wherever the work is licensed or regulated.
- 03
Launch
Listings live, stock positioned, and the order workflow tested against real volume rather than assumed.
- 04
Operate
Day-to-day marketplace operation: availability, listing health, order and returns handling, and coordination with logistics and payment providers.
- 05
Reconcile and improve
Marketplace settlements reconciled against orders and costs, and the resulting picture used to adjust pricing, assortment and stock.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Who does what
AIVORA
Commercial assessment, route selection, catalogue and pricing preparation, coordination across providers, and the ongoing operating and reconciliation workflow.
Ozon
Controls seller registration and platform access, sets product, category and listing requirements, and moderates listings. It may request product, brand or origin documentation and may reject or suspend a listing under its own rules. AIVORA is not an agent, representative or authorised partner of Ozon, and cannot obtain or guarantee registration, approval or access on your behalf.
Under Route B, the partner
The partner is the Ozon seller and account holder, carries the seller obligations that attach to its account, and is the marketplace settlement counterparty. AIVORA coordinates the commercial and operational work; it is not the seller of record.
Logistics and customs providers
Freight, cross-border movement, customs clearance and returns handling are performed by licensed specialists. AIVORA coordinates them.
Payment and compliance specialists
Settlement arrangements and compliance review sit with the appropriate regulated parties. AIVORA does not provide payment services, legal advice or regulatory clearance, and does not design routes intended to avoid any requirement.
Start with feasibility
Tell us the selling entity and where it is established, the product and its category, and how you sell today. The first useful answers are which route fits and whether this is workable at all.
